After yesterday's semi-final matches of the play-off round of the Euro 2024 qualifying cycle, in which, as it should be recalled, 12 teams initially started, the final pairs of this stage of the tournament qualification have been determined.
In the 'A' play-offs pathway, Wales beat Finland (4-1) and Poland beat Estonia (5-1). In the "B" pathway, Ukraine was stronger than Bosnia and Herzegovina (2:1) and Iceland beat Israel (4:1). Finally, in Track "C" Georgia got past Luxembourg (2:0) and Greece got past Kazakhstan (5:0).
As a result, the final pairings of the Euro 2024 qualifying round play-offs took the following shape.
Path "A": Wales - Poland
Path "B": Ukraine - Iceland
Path "C": Georgia - Greece
All matches will take place on 26 March on the fields of the teams listed first. The winners will get three tickets to the final part of the European Championship, after which the composition of the 24 participants of this tournament will be finalised.
We shall remind you that according to the results of the draw for Euro 2024, the Ukrainian national team will play in Group E with Belgium, Slovakia and Romania at the group stage of the tournament.
