Barcelona president Joan Laporta has expressed his desire to keep head coach Javi Hernandez for the next season.
"Javi insists that he will not change his mind and will leave in June. I still hope to keep Javi for next season, but it's up to him. We will see at the end of the season," Laporta said in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.
It is worth noting that Xavi announced his departure from Barcelona after the 3-5 defeat to Villarreal in the 22nd round of the Primera Division. Interestingly, since then, Barcelona has not suffered a single defeat in all tournaments.
