According to the source, the club's management and head coach Carlo Ancelotti see a huge potential in the Ukrainian and do not want to lose the player in the coming years. For this reason, Real Madrid will do everything to sign a new contract with the 25-year-old goalkeeper. The current agreement of the parties expires in the summer of 2025.

In the current season Lunin played 10 dry matches for the team, and in other 13 duels missed 19 goals. The Ukrainian won the competition with Kepa, who was on loan from Chelsea. Meanwhile, Real Madrid's number one Thibaut Courtois remains in the infirmary after two consecutive serious injuries.
