City Football Group is interested in the transfer of Liverpool Montevideo striker Luciano Rodriguez.
According to ESPN, Manchester City's owners are ready to pay €15 million for the Uruguayan forward. The Citizens are also ready to offer the player a €3 million signing bonus. It is planned that Girona will be Luciano's first club in Europe.
The transfer may be complicated by the fact that Liverpool Montevideo controls only 80% of the rights to Rodriguez, while the remaining 20% belongs to the player himself.
Luciano, 20, who was named in Marcelo Bielsa's Uruguay senior national team this month, has scored two goals for Liverpool in five Primera Division matches this season.
