The Ukrainian national team in Poland continued preparations for the final match of the 2024 European Championship play-offs against Iceland.
Despite the downpour that hit the town of Opalenica in western Poland, where the Ukrainian national team is camped, the team had a busy training session full of fast movements and finishing shots. The blue-and-yellows' forward Danylo Sikan shared his impressions of the preparation process for the match against Iceland.
"Today was a good intensive workout - we are preparing for a decisive match. We analysed our game against Bosnia a little bit and will analyse Iceland. We analysed our mistakes, which we will correct and try to play even better. I have a lot of motivation to get into the squad, because there may be a rotation. Each of the guys wants to be on the pitch. We are counting on the support of our fans in Wroclaw, we invite them to the match and we will be very grateful," said Danilo Sikan.
It will be recalled that the final play-off match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers between Ukraine and Iceland will take place on 26 March at the Tarczynski Arena Wrocław stadium in Wrocław, Poland, and will start at 20:45 local time (21:45 in Kyiv).
