During the preparation, we are more focused on our game. Yes, we analysed the Icelandic team, saw its strengths and weaknesses. We will see how it all ends. The Icelanders like to play with four defenders, they like to act on the counterattack. There are players we need to pay attention to. But first of all, we need to build on our game, and then we will see.
I believe that with our support in the stands, we can do anything. We were told that the stadium will be full, which is very nice. Support from our fans always helps.
Of course, we need to say every day that Ukraine needs global support, we need to shout about it. We need to remind people, because maybe some people forget about it. As I said earlier, Ukraine today is like a shield for the whole of Europe. Because today there is a war in our country, and tomorrow it may be in yours. So we need to support each other. Good always triumphs over evil," said Oleksandr Zinchenko.
It will be recalled that the final play-off match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers between the national teams of Ukraine and Iceland will take place on 26 March at the Tarczynski Arena Wrocław stadium in Wrocław, Poland, and will start at 20:45 local time (21:45 in Kyiv).
