According to Icelandic media reports, only Arnor Sigurdsson was absent from the 25 players who started preparing for the game three days ago, as his injury had already been reported.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Arnor Ingvi Traustason, whose health was in doubt, trained in the general group. Johan was unable to play against Israel on Thursday night due to a sore thigh, while Arnor Ingvi had to leave the field after just over 60 minutes of play because he felt muscle discomfort.
