Former Liverpool midfielder Graeme Souness has criticised Chelsea's expensive transfers.
"Chelsea's management and fans are probably just hoping that the new players will take a year to adapt to the Premier League before they start to make an impact. Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo... They don't look like players who cost £100 million right now. They need to improve. Jackson also needs to get better.
These three players have to start showing their worth, just like the rest of us. If they don't, Chelsea will have to spend money again. Because if that's their level, they're average, and that's unacceptable to the owners and the fans. They are used to winning trophies," TalkSport quoted Souness as saying.
