Former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu has once again explained why he rejected an offer from Turkish side Besiktas earlier this year.
"Yes, I told Besiktas no. I couldn't accept that offer. How can you think about winning the championship with a team already built?
I told the Turkish side that I am ready to accept the team, but only at the start of the championship. If it's possible, it's good. Otherwise I will have to force myself to coach at any cost. And I don't need to coach at any cost...," TMW quoted Lucescu as saying.
