As you know, usually only the teams that take the first four places in the Ukrainian Premier League qualify for the Champions League. However, starting from the 2024/25 season, UEFA is changing the format of the Champions League, and the top-ranked countries will receive two additional tickets to the elite European tournament.

It is highly likely that one of these two tickets will go to England, which is still represented in Europe by Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, West Ham and Aston Villa.

However, the Daily Mail notes that there is a possibility that England will get another, sixth, ticket to the Champions League.

To do this, West Ham must finish fifth in the Premier League and win the Europa League. In this case, the Hammers will pass their ticket to the sixth team in the domestic championship, and they will qualify for the Champions League as the winner of the second most important club tournament in Europe.

However, such a scenario seems unlikely, as David Moyes' team is currently in seventh place and is nine points behind fifth-placed Tottenham, which also has a match in hand.

It should be added that the Premier League will not receive an additional ticket if the team that finishes in the top 4 wins a European trophy.
