Manchester City defender Manuel Akandji has criticised Anthony Taylor's refereeing in the goalless Premier League match against Arsenal.

- I don't understand it. In the first half, Kai Havertz went into a collision with Stefan Ortega very late. In my opinion, it was a clear yellow card. I don't want to say that all the decisions were against us. Some decisions were against them, and I couldn't understand why the referee gave the foul.

There are rules, and I think some fouls should be shown yellow cards. I recall an episode when Jorginho, having already committed a foul, made a second one, and he did not receive a yellow card for either of them. I don't understand some of the decisions, but in the end we still had to score a goal. When we broke through, they often stopped us with their fouls, and the referee did not act, and it is difficult.

Obviously, we wanted to win and get three points, but nothing is settled yet, and maybe anything goes," the Evening Standard quoted Akandji as saying.
