The previous record - the last round of the Ukraine vs Italy qualifying group stage match - was surpassed by 22%.

The peak load was more than 3.1 terabits per second, which was also a record figure for the service.
In addition, the match with the Icelanders set a record for the simultaneous number of unique users watching a sports broadcast via subscription.

The MEGOGO media service also withstood another attack during the broadcast, said Valeria Tolochina, Global Chief Marketing Officer of MEGOGO.

"This is not the first time we have faced a DDoS attack, especially at national events, so the IT team always works in an enhanced mode. After all, not only the stability of the broadcast for the users of the service depends on us, but also for the viewers of the Public Broadcasting Company, to which we transmit the signal," Tolochyna said.
