Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola commented on the Citizens' 4-1 victory over Aston Villa in the 31st round of the English Championship.
"We played a very good match. A month ago at Villa Park they were better, today we played better. We missed a lot of chances, but we also created a lot. Overall, it was a good match. We could have scored more goals.
We are releasing certain players not only to give others a rest, but also to win. We need freshness, we played against Arsenal just three days ago. Because of the schedule, rest was necessary," Guardiola was quoted as saying by the BBC.
