Serbian specialist Nenad Lalatović, who was fired from Zorya Luhansk at the end of August last year, did not last long in his homeland.
Having taken charge of Spartak Subotica in November 2023, the team played 14 matches under Lalatović's leadership. Spartak is currently on a five-match losing streak and ranks 10th in the Super League, having lost its chances of qualifying for the championship group following the main stage of the Serbian championship.
According to the Serbian newspaper Telegraf, Lalatović's contract has not yet been officially terminated, but he will definitely not be the team's coach. David Dungerski, the sporting director, will become the acting head coach while the management is looking for a new coach.
