Former Barcelona defender Dani Alves, who is accused of raping a 23-year-old girl, posted his first post on social media after his release. The Brazilian paid a bail of €1 million and will be free at the time of the appeal.
"It is not true that I gave interviews to any media. I will not give interviews until the trial is over," Dani Alves wrote on Instagram.
Earlier it was reported that after his release, Dani Alves gave a brief comment to local media: "I will survive wherever I am."
As a reminder, Dani Alves will remain at large while the appeal against his sexual assault is being considered. As a reminder, in January 2023, Alves was charged with raping a girl at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona. On 20 January, the former footballer was taken into custody.
