Head coach of Odessa Chernomorets Roman Grigorchuk commented extremely emotionally on his team's victory over Alexandria (3:2) in today's match of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian championship.
"It's not that there will be a full analysis of the match regarding the game itself and the like, but an analysis of today's event. I was really looking forward to the final whistle, which would record our victory, and to go into the changing room after such a game and seeing the eyes of my players, to tell them.... what do you think I should say? "Bravo!", "Bravissimo!" - and that's what I'm gonna say.
So if there is any negativity, I immediately stop it! (Emotionally) Chernomorets players are just great! They played three matches in three days on the fourth, when the squad with a 10-12-man squad, in which they won two victories. And this should be terribly appreciated!
The second thing I want to say. I am very dissatisfied with those fans who were at the stadium today.... not all of them, but those who shouted something at the players. I address these people: today was a day when I don't know why their criticism. The same Bragar, the same Saliuk - our young guys, who played today, had a very difficult time psychologically. They needed your support more than ever! All the people, the stadium, everyone! It should be a whole, a family - not to criticise us.
(Very emotional) Terribly disappointed with this moment, terribly! (Turning to the press officer of "Chernomorets" Sergey Martynov) Can you write in such a tone? So I felt it all today! I can`t even remember when I had such a feeling. Probably back in 2012. I am terribly disappointed with this moment. And I say to the players: "Bravo! Well done!". They did a "terrible" thing. Positive," Grigorchuk said at the post-match press conference.
