Shakhtar midfielder Taras Stepanenko considers his fellow countryman from Dynamo Kyiv Volodymyr Brazhko to be his main rival in the Ukrainian national team.
- "He is from Zaporizhzhia, and there are a lot of hardworking people there, and this character is passed on from his parents. He played well and helped the national team reach the Euros. He also plays well for Dynamo. It's great when young players develop. This is how it should be, that there is a change of generations in our national team," Stepanenko said on the air of Profootball Digital.
