Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Carlos de Pena will continue his career at Brazilian side Bahia from. This club officially announced the signing of a contract with the 32-year-old Uruguayan for a period until the end of 2024.
Carlos de PenaRecall, de Pena's last team was Brazilian Internacional, to which he moved after leaving Dynamo in April 2022. In total, he played 102 matches for this team in all tournaments, scoring 14 goals and giving 11 assists. In March, Internacional officially announced that it no longer needs the services of the midfielder.
As for de Pena's new team, Bahia finished in 16th place in the Brazilian championship of the season-2023, one line away from the "relegation zone" (20 teams participate in the tournament).
