The press service of Bremen "Werder" published an official statement on the team's midfielder Naby Keita, who earlier refused to travel with the team to the German championship match against Bayer.
"Werder Bremen have disqualified Naby Keita until the end of the season. The club also fined the midfielder a significant amount. The footballer will no longer train with the team and be in the locker room of the first team", - stated in the message on the official page of "Werder" on Twitter.
Recall, Keita, when he learnt that he would not play in the starting line-up of his team against Bayer, decided not to go with the club to the game in Leverkusen, and went to his home.
