One of the most famous Romanian footballers and coaches, Ilies Dumitrescu, has announced that Mircea Lucescu is the favourite to become the new coach of Rapid Bucharest.
"Rapid remains without a single point in the playoffs. The team's fans are demanding the resignation of coach Cristiano Bergodi. Ilies Dumitrescu said that Mircea Lucescu is the favourite to take over if Bergodi leaves the team. Marius Șumudice is the backup.
