Dynamo Kyiv is preparing for the 25th round match of the Ukrainian Premier League against Polissya Zhytomyr on Sunday.
Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team began preparations for this match the very next day after the game against Minaj, which took place on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, the Kyiv team held one morning training session at their base in Vita-Litovska.
The training session on Friday was attended by the head of the Ukrainian national team Serhii Rebrov. Serhiy Rebrov is closely monitoring the progress of each candidate for the national team to form an optimal application for Euro 2024. The national team coach was happy to talk to the coaches, players and staff with whom he has worked side by side for many years.
Dynamo's training session began in the gym, where the players performed a set of stretching exercises. Then the team took to the green pitch. This time, the training took place not on the field near the main building, but on the field where the club's youth and women's teams usually play their matches.
During the warm-up, the physical training coach suggested a relay race, which aroused great emotions and excitement among the players and also warmed them up before the main work.
The main part of the training session began with practicing quick passes in several groups, with the players having to constantly move and change their positions on the field.
In addition, the team worked on tactics, the transition from defence to attack, and the completion of attacks. It should be noted that Naveen Malysh returned to training with the general group.
On Saturday, the team's programme includes a long theoretical session, and after lunch and rest, the team will have an evening training session. The team will stay at the training base and on the day of the match will go to the stadium two hours before the game. As a reminder, the Dynamo vs Polissia match will start at 18:00 on Sunday.
