Mircea Lucescu: "Take care of me".

Former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu again had to answer a question about his possible job at the helm of the Romanian national team.

Mircea Lucescu

Last Thursday, the 78-year-old specialist was present in Greece at the return match of his son Razvan Lucescu's team PAOK with Belgian Brugge (0:2) in the quarter-final of the Conference League, and when he returned to Bucharest the next day, he was traditionally met at the airport by local journalists.

One of the reporters asked Lucescu whether he was considering the possibility of working as head coach of the Romanian national team. The reaction of the specialist was quite specific.

"Who can think like that? Take care of me," Lucescu said with a laugh, and that's where he stopped communicating with journalists.

Recall, after leaving Dynamo, the Romanian coach is still unemployed. Not so long ago there were reports that he allegedly agreed to head Turkish Besiktas, but so far this information has not been confirmed. Lucescu himself said that he would make a decision on his next job at the end of May.
