Famous commentator Igor Tsyganik made a prediction for the match of the 25th round of the Ukrainian championship between Dynamo and Polissya.
- This is a test of the championship ambitions of the Kyiv team. The match against one of the candidates for a European Cup place will give an indication of whether Dynamo is capable of fighting with Shakhtar for gold medals to the very end. At least, after a 1-1 home misfire with LNZ, Shovkovskyi's men have no room for error.
The Zhytomyr team is different from their autumn campaign, when Kalitvintsev led the team and Makuana and Budkovsky were tearing it up front. Currently, the team is managed by Shyshchenko, who is introducing new tactical schemes into the game, while without their two main strikers, Polissia has significantly slipped in terms of attacking.
Dynamo will have a difficult match, as Brazhko (viral infection) and Voloshin (suspension) will not be able to help the team in the 25th round. "Polissia will be knitting the game, because Zhytomyr have no chance in the open field, and as we remember, Shyshchenko's team has not been very effective so far. For example, in the first six matches after the winter break, Wolves scored only three goals (1: 1, 0: 1, 1: 2, 0: 1, 1: 4, 0: 1).
Nevertheless, the experience and class of the Kyiv team should make itself felt. The team is full of top-class players like Yarmolenko, Buyalsky, Vanat, who should make the difference. It won't be an easy walk, but the capital's team should put three points in the bank. We are betting on Dynamo's final success by exactly one goal," Tsyganik said.
