Ten Hag: "I don't care what others say"

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag answered the question whether he is concerned about the criticism against him, which is caused by the Red Devils' unsatisfactory results.

"We have to win, and I don't want to look for excuses. I don't care what they say. I am more concerned about the fact that in 18 months I have never had an optimal squad on the pitch. This is what worries me, because the players are injured.

Only once did I have the strongest squad - in the home match against City last season. In the rest of the matches, I always had to take into account such an aspect as injuries. It's natural in football, but not in our case.

When you have so many injuries in key positions, it is impossible to achieve the desired results. This is my truth. Others may have their own truth, but I'm not ready to waste my energy on it," the Manchester Evening News quoted ten Hag as saying.
