Head coach of French "Lille" Paulo Fonseca, known in Ukraine for his work with Shakhtar Donetsk, said that the match of the French championship against Strasbourg was attended by pupils of Kharkiv Metalist.
"It's a special day. Today we shared our victory with Ukrainian children. 50 guys and girls from Kharkiv, a city that suffers from bombings every day, were our guests. I have played many matches in Kharkiv and my heart breaks every time I see children whose childhood was stolen by the war. You are all little heroes," Fonseca wrote on his Instagram page.
