The UPL clubs by a minimum majority (9 out of 16) supported the proposal to allocate funds to reward referees, journalist Igor Burbas said in his Telegram channel.
According to the source, each representative of the elite division should shell out UAH 1 million to improve refereeing.
The general idea is aimed at creating a fund in the UAF, the money from which will go to bonus payments to referees according to the evaluation rating, which the referees' committee itself will subjectively make at the end of the season. Part of the money will also go to certain organisational expenses of the committee, including the polygraph procedure.
