As planned, last Monday, 22 April, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) heard the case of Anatoliy Tymoschuk's appeal against the decision of the UAF football justice bodies.
Recall that the UAF CDC banned Anatoliy Tymoschuk from carrying out any activity related to football (administrative, sporting, etc.) for life (for behaviour, behaviour, etc.).) for life (for behaviour that harms the reputation of football and UAF); deprived Anatoliy Tymoschuk of all titles of the winner and silver medalist of the Ukrainian Championship, the Ukrainian Cup, the Super Cup of Ukraine; recommended the UAF Licensing Centre to take appropriate measures to revoke (deprive) Anatoliy Tymoschuk's Pro-UEFA coaching licence and instructed the UAF Administration to apply to the state authorities to deprive Anatoliy Tymoschuk of all state awards and honorary titles. The UAF AC upheld this decision.
The CAS said that a group of arbitrators of the instance is currently preparing a decision on Tymoschuk's lawsuit, but failed to give a date for the announcement of the verdict.
"The hearing took place on 22 April 2024, as scheduled. Currently, the group of arbitrators responsible for the matter is discussing and preparing the award. At the moment it is impossible to indicate when the award will be made," TASS quoted the CAS press service as saying.
