Barcelona President Joan Laporta has made an official statement on the future cooperation with the team's head coach Xavi.
"I am pleased to announce that Xavi will continue to coach Barca's first team," Mundo Deportivo quoted Laporta as saying.
It will be recalled that under the previous agreement, Xavi was to leave the position of the Catalan team's head coach at the end of this season, but Laporta later managed to convince the specialist to stay at the club.
