TheTribuna asked British journalists and experts which of the Ukrainian legionnaires is having the best season compared to expectations. This was the answer of The Guardian journalist Nick Ames.
- Ilya Zabarnyi (8.5/10) has adapted to the Premier League with ease and has established himself as possibly the best young centre-back in the division. His future at the highest level looks quite certain. Vitaliy Mykolenko (8/10) continues to improve. He is an important part of Everton and a beacon of stability in a team mired in uncertainty.
Oleksandr Zinchenko (7/10) is less effective than in his first season at Arsenal, but is still important to the title challenge. The team performs best when he is fit. Yegor Yarmolyuk (7/10) has made a breakthrough at Brentford and looks set to be a key player for the team in the coming seasons. Mykhailo Mudryk (6.5/10) is still struggling to find the right rhythm and consistency, but his play is starting to look promising. He looks calmer and more confident and has made a big contribution to Chelsea's progress," the journalist said.
