Former Real Madrid and Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard has admitted that he was thinking of joining an MLS team before retiring.
- "At first I told myself I would go to the US and play there for two or three years. MLS is not that bad. But it's not just about football, because everyone would have to move. It stopped me. To be honest, I didn't want to play football anymore. If I really wanted to move on, I would have found a place to live, even if I had to move. But I didn't need that anymore. I didn't want to leave just to earn more money and wonder why I did it in two or three weeks," he said.
Azar announced his retirement in 2023. His last club was Real Madrid. The midfielder also played for Chelsea and Lille.
