Vladislav Vanat: "Some teams play where the opponent is comfortable"

Dynamo Kyiv forward Vladyslav Vanat commented on the 2-1 victory over Dnipro-1 in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 26 on the TV.

- We won a very important game. During the break, Yarmolenko said such words that we could not but win.

- Did the team get excited?

- Yes, we were. It was immediately obvious. We scored in five minutes of the second half and created chances.

- Did Tymchyk's sending off happen because the team ran to appeal to the referee?

- Yes, it seemed to everyone that there was a foul on Brazhko. But the referee said that when the ball came out, he would watch it. Tymchyk knocked the ball out, and the referee said to play. I don't know... I won't comment on the refereeing, but... I won't say anything.

- Your matches with Dnipro-1 are always very tense...

- This is a good team, a good selection of players. And I am very pleased that we won today.

- Are you more comfortable being a centre forward or a right midfielder, where did Shovkovskyi move you to in the second half?

- He didn't move me to the wing. It's just that I played on the right when defending, and so we played with two strikers. But of course, I am more comfortable playing in the centre.

- Did Dnipro's three-centre defence take you by surprise?

- I wouldn't say they played with three centre-backs. Adamyuk played right-back there. But we attacked through our left flank more often, which is probably why we didn't play well in the first half.

- You have two goals in two rounds. Do you feel more confident now?

- I won't comment on that.

- Yes, only to win, but I'm also looking forward to Shakhtar's game against Dnipro in Dnipro. I hope this match will take place here. Because some teams are supposed to play at home, but they postpone matches and play where the opponent is comfortable.
