Head coach of Chornomorets Odessa Roman Grigorchuk said what he thinks about his team's two consecutive matches against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian championship (one - calendar, the second - postponed from autumn). Recall, both of these meetings will take place in Kiev.
"In each game we expect to get points. We have the next two matches with Shakhtar. We lost to Minai (0:2, in the 26th round of the Ukrainian championship - ed.), but don't think that we have already given up and will lose to Shakhtar. On the contrary, we will make every effort to earn points in these two games.
What matters is our character, psychological state, our strength. We have a certain potential. We can play better than we did against Minai. We are determined to play each next game stronger than the previous one.
Playing two games against Shakhtar in Kyiv? I would not say that it is a disadvantage for us. The travelling schedule is very difficult now. The train arrives in Lviv at six in the morning. There used to be a different schedule. And now, who has not fallen asleep on the train since the evening - at 5 a.m. we are already getting up, getting ready to leave. For us it is favourable not to have a heavy journey to Odessa and then to Lviv. So we are happy with the way it turned out. I realise that for the fans it is a disadvantage, but for us it is a good option," said Grigorchuk.
