Sports doctor Dmytro Babeliuk, known for his work with Rukh Lviv, commented on the latest rumours surrounding the injury to Ukrainian Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, who suffered in the derby with Liverpool.

"We have the first information on Mykolenko. According to Viktor Vatsko, Vitaliy was diagnosed with a torn ankle ligament, which is not surprising.

The mechanism of the injury did not indicate such a diagnosis, so it is surprising that there are stories about surgery and missing the Euros at all.
