"Dnipro-1" is on the threshold of serious changes and trials, said the host of the Youtube channel "Pier" Alexander Sklyar, who specialises in Dnipro football news.
"So far everything is very vague, unclear and just bad. The club is actually surviving, trying to somehow close the current issues, salaries. But as of today there are no clear prospects.
Today's wage debts of Dnipro-1 are nothing. It is not a problem at all. The club has a lot of long-standing debts: people who left us and they have not closed these debts. The club needs to sell all the leaders in order to improve life and start with a clean slate. Then there is a chance to nullify the karma and move on.
None of the players of the team are going to renew their contract yet. Filippov, Babenko, Pasich - they will say goodbye to us (if nothing happens). Gorbunov simply we are not going to prolong, it doesn`t make sense. All our leaders have made it clear that they want to leave and they will be considered.
It will be easier to come to an agreement with Kogut, because he has been injured for a very long time. He is his own man to the bone. The situation with Tanchyk is about the same as with Gorbunov. If they don't find interesting offers, they will probably stay for a plate of borscht. So far their salaries are inadequate, considering their level of play.
It is not ruled out that options to attract additional investors will be considered. At least, such a thing is not ruled out, but it is not a guarantee that it will happen. If I could say six months ago that it will definitely not happen, now I can't answer that. This option is not denied," Sklyar said.
