In Germany, a woman has become the head coach of a men's football club (PHOTO)

Sabrina Wittmann, 32, has been appointed as the new head coach of German side Ingolstadt. She replaced Michael Köllner, who resigned the previous day.

Prior to this appointment, Wittmann was in charge of Ingolstadt's U-17 and U-19 youth teams. In addition, she headed the football development department at the club.

We would like to add that Ingolstadt now plays in the third ranked German division.
