According to Diario SPORT, he could be heard shouting uncontrollably: "This can't be happening!" on one of the exits from the stadium. Vice-president Rafa Yuste and sporting director Deku were by his side.

Laporta was reportedly watching the game from the stands. "Barcelona" for the second time in the season lost to "Girona", which has not previously happened in the history of confrontations between these clubs. Ukrainian players Artem Dovbik and Viktor Tsygankov were in the starting line-up. Dovbik played the whole match and scored a goal + assist.
