The official website of the Ukrainian Premier League has completed the traditional poll to determine the best in the Ukrainian championship at the end of the month: in this case - at the end of April.
This time the best coach of the UPL was Dynamo Kyiv coach Oleksandr Shovkovskiy, who got 43.8% of votes. Marino Pusic (Shakhtar) - 26.4% of votes, Zeljko Ljubenovic (Minai) - 21.8% and Vitaliy Ponomariov (Ruh) - 8%.
It should be noted that Shovkovskiy became the UPL Player of the Month for the second time in a row.
In the poll for the best UPL player in April, the winner was Shakhtar forward Daniil Sikan with 43.7 per cent of votes. He was slightly ahead of Vladislav Vanat (Dynamo) - 40.5%, as well as Maxim Lunev (Kryvbas) - 9% and Oleksiy Gutsulyak (Dnipro-1) - 6.8%.
We would like to add that the determination of the best player and coach of the month is carried out in two stages. First, representatives of some sports websites of Ukraine and UPL partners name their contenders in both nominations. According to the results of these data are determined four best players and coaches of the month. At the second stage, an open poll is held on the official website of the UPL, in which everyone can vote for both the player and the coach.
