Mourinho: "I rejected the offer of the Portuguese national team and stayed at Roma. It was a mistake"

Former Roma coach Jose Mourinho commented on his decision to refuse the Portuguese national team.

"I decided to stay at Roma rather than accept the job with the Portuguese national team. Emotions got the better of me and I think I made a mistake. If I get a third opportunity to coach my country, I will definitely take it," Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio quoted Mourinho as saying.
