Euro 2025 (U-17): dates and venue of the first qualifying round with the participation of the youth national team of Ukraine are

The venue and dates of the first qualifying round of the European Championship 2024/2025 (U-17) with the participation of the youth national team of Ukraine have been determined.

On Friday, 3 May, the draw for the first qualifying round of Euro 2025 (U-17) took place in Nyon. According to its results, the youth national team of Ukraine (currently U-16, players born in 2008), led by Yuriy Moroz, is in Group 4 along with Belgium, Kosovo and Kazakhstan.

Now it has become known that the mini-tournament in our group will take place in Belgium, and the matches will take place on 9, 12 and 15 October.

Group 1: England, Sweden, Latvia, Malta.

Group 2: Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, Armenia.

Group 3: Netherlands, Croatia, Albania, Faroe Islands.

Group 4: Belgium, Ukraine, Kosovo, Kazakhstan.

Group5: Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Liechtenstein.

Group 6: Hungary, Greece, Romania, Azerbaijan.

Group7: Germany, Czech Republic, Belarus, Andorra.

Group8: Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Lithuania.

Group 9: Italy, Norway, Wales, San Marino.

The two best teams from each group will advance to the second round of selection. After that, 28 participants in the spring of 2025 in seven groups of League A will compete for seven tickets to the final tournament, which will be held in Albania in the summer. The host team received a pass to the forum automatically, although it will take part in the qualifiers.

The remaining teams will play in League B in the second round and compete for places in League A of the first qualifying round of Euro 2027 (U-19).

It will be added that Euro 2025 (U-17) will be a selection for UEFA representatives for the 2025 FIFA World Cup in the U-17 category, which will be held with the participation of 48 national teams in Qatar.

It will be recalled that the U-16 national team recently won the UEFA Development Tournament in Estonia.
