Former Dynamo footballer Mykola Morozyuk shared his expectations for Kyiv's match against Shakhtar in the 28th round of the Ukrainian championship on 11 May.
Mykola Morozyuk- "Of course, I will be rooting for Dynamo, it's a no-brainer. It's hard to say in whose favour the match will end, because in such games it's not easy to predict the score. I hope it will be in Dynamo's favour, as the intrigue will return.
Intrigue always adds positive emotions. All fans will be worried to the last about who will become the champion. But the game will be very difficult for both teams, because Shakhtar are in good form now, gaining important points, and Dynamo are also working in a pretty good rhythm now, showing a good quality game, which is confirmed by the result.
Therefore, the game, in my opinion, will be very interesting. And I would really like Dynamo to win and keep the intrigue alive to the end.
- How do you assess Shovkovskyi's work at Dynamo?
- Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to watch Dynamo's games in their entirety. I rewatch the goals scored, the highlights, the best moments in a short mode. Therefore, I can evaluate it from two sides. First, in terms of the result, it's ten out of ten. What Shovkovskyi gave us was a breath of fresh air, the players revived and believed in themselves.
In the last games under Lucescu, I saw that the players were psychologically exhausted, like a squeezed lemon. That's why we had to act. And now, in terms of results, Shovkovskyi is doing his job 100 per cent. As for the game, it's hard for me to say, but for some reason it seems to me that it is a standard, original, traditional Dynamo game, aggressive, counterattacking, disciplined. These are the conclusions I made after watching certain segments.
I will have the opportunity to cheer and watch the game against Shakhtar live. Then I will be able to comment on a game. I hope that I will enjoy the match a lot, that Dynamo will win and, God willing, become the champions.
What I like now is that the team is progressing, the team is alive. And it is very important when players feel confident. I hope that they will be able to take three points and keep the tension up until the last round.
