Volodymyr Sharan: "In order for this Shakhtar to be the best in history, we must at least win the Conference League"

Famous Ukrainian coach Volodymyr Sharan shared his expectations from the Ukrainian Premier League match between Shakhtar and Dynamo.

"I have one wish - to see good football played by the best teams in Ukraine. I think this match will be decisive in the fight for the championship, because with a 4-point advantage, it will be extremely difficult for Dynamo to change anything from here. I don't see how Shakhtar can lose if they beat Dynamo. They don't care where they play. The main thing is that the pitch is good.

I would like to see Dynamo at the level of this most important match. Both teams are approaching the game in optimal condition. Individually, Shakhtar are stronger due to the Brazilians, who work well with the ball and make a difference on the pitch. In defence, Donetsk have problems that Dynamo can exploit. I think Dynamo has become stronger. The youngsters are getting better over time. Now we see that the Kyiv team has a good microclimate. Yarmolenko is back, and he gives a lot to this team.
