According to the source, the day before UEFA sent out requirements to team owners who have multiple ownership of European clubs. "City Football Group owns 100% of Manchester City and 47% of Girona. Both clubs have qualified for the Champions League in their respective countries, but in order to participate next season, CFG will have to reduce its stake in one of them (and Girona is the obvious choice) to less than 30%.
