Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp recalled the course of events in the 2022 Champions League final match against Real Madrid (0:1).
"We played that match and had a shot on goal every three minutes, but their goalkeeper had 12 hands. And then they score, and we are talking about one mistake when we could have played better in defence.
The opponent was in the wrong positions 23 times, and we couldn't punish them. That doesn't say anything about their defence. It's all bloody Thibaut Courtois," The Guardian quoted Klopp as saying.
