Kryvbas head coach Yuriy Vernydub commented on his team's defeat in the match of the 29th round of the Ukrainian championship against Dynamo. In this way, the coach expressed his opinion on the level of refereeing in the UPL.
"I was talking calmly, just proving to the referee that you need to judge what is there. Neither we nor Dynamo needed anything in this match. If there was a penalty... forgive me. If there was offside in another episode, then I am blind. Now we have all the technology, you can see the moment at once. There was no offside at all. I don't understand these mistakes.
Then we want our referees to work at matches in Europe. They have never refereed and will never referee. This is their level. No offence, I wished them good luck, but they have to draw some conclusions from these mistakes and move on. And they tell us to play better. We are working, but you have to work too.
What went wrong in the game? They gave a penalty that didn't happen. But I liked the football we showed, we had plenty of chances, we could have scored more. I think we played on equal terms in the first and second halves. We lost, and we have something to work on, which we will do," Vernydub said on FootballHub.
