The next football season in Ukraine is under threat. In any case, such a conclusion can be drawn from the information voiced by well-known TV commentator Ihor Tsyganyk.
According to him, the presidents of a number of clubs of the first and second leagues are seriously considering not to declare for the championship of Ukraine season-2023/24 because of the risk of losing a significant part of their players due to mobilisation.
"To invest money when half of your squad can be taken away from you is quite difficult. At the same time, it is not only about the players, but also about the referees, who are now just afraid to go to the matches, and this is happening en masse," - also said Cyganik.
We shall remind you that recently the football player of the first league "Khust" Mykola Sirash was taken away from the railway station by the TCC representatives, after which he lost contact with them.
