Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih midfielder Yuriy Vakulko commented on his team's 1-3 defeat to Dynamo Kyiv in the 29th round of the Ukrainian championship.
- The match was not of tournament significance for both teams, but it turned out to be very combative. Was it a fundamental confrontation for Kryvbas?
- I wouldn't say that, because every game is important for us. We understood that the match did not solve anything. We wanted to come out, show good football, enjoy the game and win. Unfortunately, it happened as it did. A lot was decided by the beginning, when we conceded twice. It was not very good for us, but we levelled the game and created some great chances. In general, we looked good. I am happy for the young guys who made their debut in the UPL for Kryvbas. I can only congratulate them.
- Why did the opponent seize the initiative in the second half of the second half?
- Perhaps everyone was a little bit fed up, as they say, it was the end of the season. During the game, Dynamo rebuilt itself, so it was difficult in general.
- Do you agree that in general the result was not according to the game, because Kryvbas, especially before the 70th minute, created more goal opportunities?
- The result was really off the mark. There is more of a question about the penalty. I don't think I've ever seen an 11-metre penalty for a foul that didn't happen. Perhaps, if not for this episode, everything would have turned out differently. Well, we were a bit unlucky this time.
