The Golden Talent project has compiled another monthly rating of the best Ukrainian football players born in 2005-2007. This time, it was based on the results of April 2024, having traditionally interviewed more than 120 experts.
For the second time in a row, Dynamo's representative topped the ranking of the best Ukrainian football players in the U19 age category. In March 2024, central defender Taras Mykhavko was No. 1 on the list, and in April - center forward Matvey Ponomarenko.
In March, Ponomarenko won over his teammate in terms of the number of mentions in expert questionnaires (68:63), but lost out on the number of first places in the top three and let Mikhavko move ahead.
This time, the Kyiv striker won in all respects: mentions in the questionnaires - 76:61, first places - 35:21, total points - 171:125.

Dnipro-1 joker Ramik Hadzhiev took the third place in the ranking (50 mentions in the questionnaires), Danylo Krevsun (34) from Borussia Dortmund retained the fourth place, and Dmytro Godia (31) broke into the top 5 due to his extremely effective play for Veres U19.
