Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne's team has held transfer talks with officials of the new MLS team San Diego Chargers.
According to The Athletic, the 32-year-old is open to moving to the United States. However, the contacts with the Belgian's representatives did not go far and a possible transfer is still a long way off.
De Bruyne was considering staying with the Citizens until the end of his career, but as his contract expires next year, he is being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia or the MLS. Moving to the US is becoming an increasingly popular move for veterans of European clubs, especially after Lionel Messi's move to Inter Miami.
