Ingulets president Oleksandr Povorozniuk positively assesses the changes in Ukrainian refereeing after the appointment of Andriy Shevchenko as UAF president.
- How would you assess the refereeing in the First League after Shevchenko and Monzul joined the UAF?
- To be honest, I'm f*cked!
- In a good or bad way?
- Well, of course, in a good way. Why couldn't it have been done before? Everything is different now. Arbitrators judge honestly. What was it like before? They would arrive and immediately: "How much?", "Who?", "How?".
Now, when they arrive, I ask, because I'm interested: "What is going on and how?". The arbitrators answer: "Alexander Grigorievich, that's all in the past. Now we are starting from scratch." It's so nice to hear that! Why didn't they do this before?
- There used to be Italians in the judiciary.
- I have been talking about Italians for a long time, but no one wanted to listen to me. Everyone was happy with everything.
