UAF President Andriy Shevchenko at today's meeting with journalists spoke about the problem with the formation of the composition of the Ukrainian Olympic team for the 2024 Olympics, which will be held on the same dates in which Ukrainian clubs will play in the qualification of the European Cup next season.

"There is no guarantee that the head coach of the Ukrainian Olympic team will get all the players he is counting on for the Olympics yet.

That is why we gave Ruslan Petrovych the opportunity to form the second squad of the Olympic team - to find a replacement for those performers who may not be at the Olympics. In this situation, everything will depend on the decision of the clubs and on communication between them and the head coach of our Olympic team," Shevchenko said.
